Line Driver

The P-03 Line Driver Probe is an accessory of the TD-53 that allows you to check wire pairs for concealed microphones. When the line driver probe is operated, the P-03’s 2 LEDs will alert if detection device is detected; one will alert the presence of voltage found on a wire pair, the other alerts when it has detected current flow within the wire pair.
The P-03 Line Driver Probe switch puts voltage onto the wire pair being tested which turns on voltage activated microphones. There is an A/B switch that reverses polarity of voltage, which detects devices with polarity sensitivity.
