Wiretap Detector

The Tap Trap TT-07 Wiretap Detector can check for bugging devices that are on your premises, it detects both series and parallel bugging devices. This device allows you to check for the most common telephone bugging devices, the hookswitch bypass.

Detects Series Bugging Devices with 61 ohms resistance or more
Detects Parallel devices with 65 megohms resistance or less
Detects Some Capacitively Coupled Telephone Taps
Comes with cords, plugs, adapters, 9v battery, and instruction manual.

Note: This is not a magic box that will automatically and permanently detect bugs on your phone lines, to use you must disconnect your interior wiring from incoming telephone.
